Located near the German border in Lower Silesia, Bolesławiec is a vibrant Polish town with a rich history and cultural heritage. It is best known for its production of ceramics decorated with floral or geometric patterns, predominantly in blue and white. The Ceramics Museum celebrates this centuries-old craft, displaying an endless range of beautiful and refined objects, including unique masterpieces.
The town centre and market square are home to some of Bolesławiec&#8217;s oldest and most iconic buildings, such as the Gothic Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary and St. Nicholas, built in stone between the 15th and 16th centuries, with a richly decorated Baroque interior. Additional Baroque statues adorn the surrounding area. The town hall features a blend of Baroque elements and Gothic details in its tower and interior. Built in the early 16th century and set in the heart of the market square, it is surrounded by a well-preserved network of medieval streets. Only a few remnants of the defensive walls erected in the 14th century survive, as most were demolished during the Napoleonic Wars.
In terms of modern infrastructure, the town is home to the municipal stadium of the BKS Bobrzanie Bolesławiec sports club. And that&#8217;s not all. These state-of-the-art LED sources also optimise energy consumption and significantly reduce maintenance costs.
Another key advantage of the Forum LED floodlight is its precise aiming and position-locking system. This feature is particularly essential when matches are televised with modern cameras to broadcast high-resolution images.
The modernised municipal stadium in Bolesławiec can now host training sessions and sports competitions under the most advanced LED lighting, as Disano floodlights provide precise, safe and highly efficient lighting.
