The Way Dos Hermanas shopping and leisure centre is a place for the whole family that was recently inaugurated in Seville, the capital of Andalusia, in southern Spain. It contains not only shops, but also bars, restaurants, as well as fitness areas, cinemas and play areas for children.
The Seville shopping centre boasts an innovative design by architect Enrique Bardají, who, in 2012, was made honorary professor at ETSAM (Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura de Madrid), Spain&#8217;s most prestigious architecture university. In this project, the architecture pays special attention to the surrounding context and ensures total compliance with the highest environmental sustainability and quality standards.
For this reason too, the lighting design was given the utmost attention, guiding the choice of products towards eco-sustainable and energy-saving solutions. Disano illuminazione, the company entrusted with the lighting project, supplied the fixtures for each area in the shopping centre. These are Made in Italy products, all of the greatest aesthetic impact, as well as technologically innovative, with high-performance levels and excellent light diffusion. The lighting fixtures chosen were: Garda, Roda LED, Studio B, Minilinea B, Rodio COB, Mini Rodio COB, Eco Lex 3, Vega LED, Podio and Cripto. Each one of these fixtures allows for the smart management of lighting points, achieving maximum luminous efficiency, long lifespan and an incredible reduction in energy and maintenance costs.
But that&#8217;s not all. The LED sources in these fixtures are environmentally friendly as they release very little carbon dioxide, protecting our planet and its inhabitants.
Moreover, Disano&#8217;s luminaires have been designed for optimal operation in all environmental and temperature conditions, making them suitable for both indoor and outdoor lighting applications.
