Opened in 2006 with the name Ferme du Sart, O&#8217;tera is now experiencing a considerable expansion throughout France, becoming one of the country&#8217;s leading supermarket chains for fresh produce.
The choice on the supermarket&#8217;s shelves is truly mouth-watering: from cheeses and sausages to fruit and vegetables, and from meats to ready meals and bread. Everything is always and only natural, fresh and, above all, local.
A new store of the French brand recently opened in Amiens, a small town in Haute-France. The lighting system played a key role, as it had to illuminate the food without causing damage, enhancing all its natural colours and flavours.
To meet multiple needs, the task was entrusted to Disano, which, drawing on its expertise in the commercial lighting sector, selected its Techno System and Vision 2.0 models with modern LED technology. LED light sources are, in fact, particularly suitable for indoor lighting solutions thanks to the many technical advantages they can guarantee: from the excellent colour rendering index to high luminous efficiency and, a notable reduction in energy costs, which is a particularly crucial aspect since these places require artificial lighting to stay on all day long.
Equally notable is the higher luminous flux, which contributes to a top-quality light output free from the harmful flicker effect (low flicker), completely protecting the safety and visual wellbeing of workers and customers.
Disano created the ideal lighting system for the O&#8217;tera store in Amiens by fitting luminaires that illuminate the fresh produce in a safe manner, completely preserving its natural taste and colour.
