Established as a family business back in 1929, the Japanese Yazaki Corporation is today one of the world’s leading suppliers of automotive components, with sales and production facilities in Europe, including Italy, Spain, Germany and Croatia, as well as Africa, such as Tunisia and Morocco. The facility produces several articles, including terminals, wiring harnesses and connectors for four-wheel vehicles.

Yazaki has recently opened a new site in North Africa, precisely in Meknès, one of Morocco’s four imperial cities. The new site will specialise in automotive components for thermal, hybrid and electric vehicles to promote environmentally sustainable mobility and enable the shift of the automotive sector towards electrification.

Disano designed and developed an ultra-modern lighting system for the new Moroccan headquarters using the range of its luminaires that could best suit the needs of the context.

All the luminaires fully reflect the Italian company’s care and passion for making top-class lighting fixtures, which stand out for their unique design, representing the best of Italian craftsmanship, thanks to the carefully selected and first-class materials and advanced technological gear. Each product includes the latest generation LEDs allowing excellent colour rendering, stability (low flicker) and high lighting efficiency.

In detail, Disano installed Lucente industrial high-bays, Sevilla spotlights and Roda watertight fixtures in the production plant and chose Rodi ceiling lights for the offices to ensure maximum visual comfort (UGR<19) also thanks to the absence of any harmful flicker (flicker-free). In addition to these advantages, the luminaires installed feature excellent colour rendering, long LED life and a notable reduction in energy and maintenance costs.

Therefore, Disano‘s expertise in the manufacturing lighting sector contributed to delivering quality, reliable and safe lighting to the different areas of the Yakazi site in Morocco.
