The first bottle of San Benedetto mineral water was officially produced in 1956, marking the foundation of the famous Veneto-based company. It takes its name from a spring generating at a depth of 300 metres, where the water has been flowing for centuries. Although the company&#8217;s headquarters have stayed in Scorzè, a charming town in the province of Venice, San Benedetto S.p.A. now boasts offices all over the world, producing and exporting its rich assortment of carbonated and non-carbonated soft drinks. It has eleven factories, seven of which are in Italy, and currently employs almost 2000 people in 105 countries, from Europe, such as Austria, Switzerland or France, to the United States and Canada, and Southeast Asia, such as Thailand and Singapore.
In Italy, at the Treviso factory, the company decided to carry out some renovation work, including a new interior and exterior lighting system. Given the complexity of the lighting design, the task was entrusted to Disano which, after a careful analysis of the different installation locations, selected a range of specific luminaires.
In the interior areas, such as the warehouses, the Italian lighting company installed Saturno, high-performance, robust, reliable and energy-efficient industrial high-bays: the best of modern lighting technology.
Moreover, Saturno comes with a DALI driver enabling sophisticated control and management of the whole lighting system. This allows emitting light as and when needed, effectively minimising both energy usage and maintenance costs.
For the exteriors, Giovi and Mini Giovi were used. These streetlights are characterised by a high-quality luminous flux, which is also stable (flicker free) and has a high colour rendering index. LEDs are the only light sources that can truly ensure a reduction in polluting emissions and energy costs, demonstrating Disano&#8216;s commitment to meeting the demands of the green economy.
Moreover, these lighting fixtures can be equipped with sophisticated management, diagnosis and real-time monitoring systems, which promote efficiency and eco-sustainability.
The installation of the Rodio spotlight added that creative and personalised touch to otherwise anonymous façades or external perimeters, providing, as always, the multiple benefits of the LED technology. Its polyester powder coating also makes it resistant to both corrosion and weather agents.
These luminaires come in different models and serve diverse functions, yet they share a crucial characteristic: research conducted in Disano&#8216;s laboratories ensures outstanding luminous flux, delivering stable, low-flicker, glare-free, and visually comforting light.
In conclusion, Disano&#8216;s lighting design at the San Benedetto production facility focuses on transforming each area into not just adequately lit spaces, but also more inviting for work, enhancing comfort, and boosting productivity.
